Hi, I’m Stacey.

The Play Edit was born from something I kept seeing again and again in the women around me.

Women who were endlessly giving.

Giving to their families. Giving to their jobs. Giving to their partners, friends, children, communities, and responsibilities.

Women who had become so busy looking after everyone else that they had quietly stopped making space for themselves.

The truth is, I was one of those women too.

For years, I poured everything I had into building a career. I gave more and more of myself away, often at the expense of my own wellbeing. Like so many women, I convinced myself that being busy meant being successful, that working harder would eventually lead to balance, and that everyone else's needs should come before my own.

Until one day, it didn't.

I learned the hard way what happens when you keep giving pieces of yourself away without ever taking anything back. I had spent years pouring my energy, creativity, and passion into a company, giving more and more of myself for less and less in return, until eventually there was nothing left to give.

It broke me.

But it also taught me something incredibly important.

We all need moments that belong entirely to us.

Time to learn something new.
Time to create.
Time to reconnect with friends.
Time to laugh.
Time to be inspired.
Time to remember who we are outside of our responsibilities.

From the very beginning, The Play Edit was built to provide exactly that.

A pause.

A deep inhale.

A chance to step away from the demands, expectations, pressures, and endless to-do lists of everyday life and reconnect with yourself through creativity, curiosity, and play.

Whether it's building a terrarium, creating a wreath, making something beautiful with your hands, or simply spending a few hours in the company of like-minded people, our workshops are designed to offer something that many women don't get enough of:

Permission to prioritise themselves.

We believe creativity isn't just about making things.

It's about making space.

Space to breathe.
Space to connect.
Space to rest.
Space to grow.

Because when we stop endlessly giving and start intentionally filling our own cup again, everything changes.

Welcome to The Play Edit.

We're so glad you're here.
